I swap-terminologi refererer begrebet til, at en bank med mange swap-aftaler plukker de profitgivende swap-forretninger ud til egne bøger, men isolerer de tabsgivende swap-forretninger i datterselskaber, der siden likvideres. Dette er dog ikke muligt ved swap-aftaler indgået under ISDA Code, idet alle aftaler indgået med samme modpart konsolideres og ses under ét. -
